This home, which now resides in a quiet older neighborhood of north Phoenix, was built in 1973 and purchased in 2004 by Craig Cummings. Upon deciding to begin a remodel this year, Craig researched several window companies before honing in on Pella Windows & Doors of Arizona
Craig had requested an appointment online to replace seven windows. The opportunity came through our Scottsdale showroom which was assigned to our newest sales representative, James Marabella.
Craig’s primary concern was the amount of heat coming through his old aluminum windows and the overall appearance of his home. As part of a walk-through, James explained the installation process, took measurements, and pointed out further concerns with the old windows. He also used a heat lamp to show the efficiency of Pella’s Sun-Defense Low-E windows, demonstrating how the windows reflect the heat and block the harmful UV rays.
Before the order was placed to Craig’s specifications, the measurements were verified by one of our installers to ensure a perfect custom fit. The windows being replaced were in the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and office. This project was a combination of a slump block and full frame install with stucco repair.
Craig was very satisfied with the install, his overall experience with Pella Windows & Doors and the professionalism of James throughout the entire project.
A few weeks later, James received an e-mail from a neighbor right across the street from Craig, stating she was jealous and now excited about replacing her windows with Pella as well and set an appointment.
