Richard began his carrier with Pella in early 2020. He comes to us with a very successful and tenured background with Paychex, where he has been the last 28 years. He has served in numerous roles there, starting in sales, where he was awarded honors of; National Rookie of the Year, #1 National Sales Representative, and Top 3 Nationally two additional years. He quickly progressed into Leadership Roles starting with Flagship District Sales Manager where he was also #1 in the country. Next, Richard moved into a Senior Manager Role of Regional Sales Director and again delivered #1 in the country. His last position at Paychex was in the Major Markets Sales division as a SaaS Enterprise Senior Sales Manager.
Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts, Business Management/Psychology degree while attending Linfield College in Portland, Oregon. In college, he was a 2-Sport Athlete and active in many College activities. Richard has been a decorated award winner/record holder in nearly every position he has held and has a long track record of success. Richard is committed to the success of his direct (and indirect) colleagues and focused on customer facing sales and team member development, while always demonstrating the highest ethical standards.
Richard's biggest "win" comes from his loving family. Wife Kathy of 28 years and 17-year-old daughter Serena are the most fulfilling aspect of his life. Family adventures and trips to Volleyball tournaments are their passion.
