Pella Windows in Highpoint Terrace

One of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the heart of Memphis is the Highpoint Terrace neighborhood. It is a quaint little neighborhood generally geographically defined as being north of Walnut Grove, east of North Highland Street, south of Summer Avenue and bounded east by Swan Ridge and Eastland. Highpoint gets its name from the railroad industry, as a railroad cut through the neighborhood at one time. It was the highest point between the Mississippi River and the Wolf River. A few years ago, the railroad was converted into the Greenline, a popular paved exercise trail for runners and cyclists.

Along with the appeal of the Greenline, Highpoint Terrace also contains a small shopping area with a neighborhood grocery store, a dental office, dry cleaners, a barber shop, a deli and some of the best pizza in town at Highpoint Pizza. The neighborhood is also close to many great schools.

Property values in High Point Terrace are some of the highest per square foot in the city of Memphis. Many homes were built in the 1940s and have a post-World War II, minimal yet traditional design. If you drive through the neighborhood now, you might still see a few of the older two-bedroom, one-bathroom style homes, but they are rare. When you drive through High Point Terrace, you will notice that most homes do not have their original design concept; instead, bedrooms have been added to the house, among other rehab projects.

Another appeal of the Highpoint Terrace neighborhood is that the homeowners take excellent care of their homes. It is lovely to walk the streets of Highpoint Terrace and see the different landscapes and special touches of each home. Since these homes were built so long ago, many needed updated windows.

Pella Windows and Doors have unique craftsmanship that gives them a crisp, clean look, and it is obvious this neighborhood enjoys the look of Pella Windows and Doors. Our team is experts at window and door replacements and can help you update your historic home without compromising its style.

Many of the home’s windows and doors in this neighborhood have “The Pella Difference," which is windows and doors that you can tell were built with exceptional attention to detail.  From single- and double-hung windows to French patio doors, and everything in between, the options are endless.

If you want to enhance your home's look and experience "The Pella Difference," consider Pella Windows and Doors. Plus, with us, you get so much more than stunning windows and doors. Our team goes beyond requirements to create beautifully designed products you can be proud of.
