Habitat for Humanity Omaha hosts an annual Builder’s Blitz, bringing together contractors, builders, neighbors and businesses to build homes and repair neighborhoods in need.
Kris Minckler, Construction Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity Omaha put it best when he said “Omaha has a tremendous spirit of giving back. People come out and give their time, treasure, and talent to make these houses happen.”
The Habitat for Humanity Builders Blitz employed countless volunteers to make 11 homes happen in June. Pella Omaha was honored to be part of that spirit of giving, and to see the dreams of these families come true.
Pella Omaha General Manager Wes True was at the blitz to deliver Pella’s contribution to the homes. The company donated 22 doors to the cause.
“Community involvement is really important to Omaha and it’s really important to Pella. It’s one of our Beliefs and Drivers inside of our company, and we’re just happy to be a part of a good organization like Habitat for Humanity.”
Pella Omaha is always grateful for the opportunity to be part of making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. This year, the Builders Blitz created warmth and a place to call home for 11 thankful and deserving families.
