Pittsburgh March Trend of the Month: Upgrading for Aesthetics

posted on in Pittsburgh

Our sales team sees some of the best and newest trends when they’re out spending time with their customers and helping them to replace their windows and doors. They’re all throughout our city each and every day both seeing and installing some of the newest, most modern trends. When it comes to modernizing and updating your home, you couldn’t take advice from a better source! Luckily we’re curating the month’s trends that we’ve noticed, just for you in Pittsburgh, every single month. This month’s trend? Upgrading for #aesthetic.

This month’s trend of upgrading for the aesthetic is perfectly aligned with the turning of the season! Spring is a time or rejuvenation and of the earth becoming beautiful again! Pittsburgh homeowners are apparently feeling the same about their homes this March! From patio doors, to wood windows and entry door replacements, homeowners are beautifying their homes in preparation for the coming warm weather.beautiful window for aesthetic

While some may think replacing for aesthetics should come second to other replacement concerns, it can actually be one that affects homeowner’s daily lives greatly. A home is a place homeowners are in every day.

Replacing for aesthetics can also give homeowners the chance to match existing doors and windows so that the home matches. This is extremely common for new homeowners that have just bought a house. While there are pros and cons to replacing all at once or in phases, either choice is one that Pella can assist with. The pros to replacing all at once are that the replacement is done all in one swoop and can take less time overall. Another pro to replacing all at the same time is that you don’t have an ‘in-between’ time when some windows are the new style of window and some the old. The pro to replacing in phases however is it can often be an easier task to handle financially when done in phases.

In the end, when upgrading for aesthetic, it’s entirely up to the homeowner's personal preference but can really improve the overall curb appeal of a home and give a homeowner exactly what they want in their home.
