It's Showcase Season in Wisconsin - Six Must-See Home Parades

POSTED ON in Wisconsin

parade

Before you know it, you'll be exchanging your flip-flops for boots and your T-shirt for a jacket. As summer activities wind down and leaves begin to fall, it's the perfect time to start thinking about building or remodeling. And fortunately, there are several home parades and tours throughout Wisconsin to start collecting ideas.

We've put together a list of some of our favorite shows in the state during the autumn season. You'll see some of the best in home design, from modern bungalows, to classic craftsman homes. In as little as one day, you can explore a wide variety of home layouts, styles and designs that may otherwise take weeks to research.

We love participating in home parades and tours because they allow us to show off some of our favorite work, along with many other talented local companies and Wisconsin builders. You'll see many homes that include Pella windows and doors as well as our made-to-order blinds and shades.

Even if you live outside the area where these shows are held, they're worth checking out!

1.  Metropolitan Builders Association Parade of Homes

August 13-September 5

You'lI probably still be sporting shorts and shades for this show, but it's one you won't want to miss. Presented by Nonn's Kitchen Bath & Flooring, the MBA Parade of Homes will walk you through 20 brand new homes, built by 16 different builders and showcased in two subdivisions located in the Village of Hartland and Menominee Falls.

Tickets for the show will allow entry into each subdivision one time. You can purchase tickets at the entrances, online, or at advance ticket locations.

Don't forget to swing over to the show's sister parade, the MBA Parade of Remodeled Homes, September 10-11, which offers free admission with your MBA Parade of Homes ticket stub. This show will feature newly remodeled homes by the best in the business. If you do not have a ticket stub from the Parade of Homes, you can purchase a ticket at any home for only $6.00.
