Casement Windows & Double-Hung Windows Reduce Street Noise

Before and After: 1950's Hickory Hills Home Noise Reduction

Brand New View

During the installation, there was a traffic accident near the house. When one of the installers ask the homeowner if they heard it, she replied that she didn't and realized how much of a difference the windows made to the sound on the street.

Changing to casements made all of the glass uniform and with an interesting curve of the windows, added the appeal the customer was hoping for.
