Low Maintenance Fiberglass Entry Door

posted

Project Scope

  • Type: Home/Residence
  • Industry: Retail
  • Location: St. Charles, IL
  • Age of Structure: 1998
  • Area of Structure Involved: Front Entry
  • Window Materials Used: Fiberglass entry door

Before

old entry door with peeling paint and old wood

After

new fiberglass entry door replacement with sidelights

The homeowner of this 1998 St. Charles home wanted a more durable entry door that would need minimal maintenance. He also wanted to update the look of the entry door with a wood stained look.

The existing door had a wood exterior that was deteriorating and the door was plain and simple with clear glass sidelights and a transom.

We recommended to remove the transom and use a 96” tall fiberglass entry door with full length decorative sidelights to make a more grand entrance. This completely changed the look of the home from both the inside and outside!
