The holiday season is filled with some of our favorite things: family, food and holiday home décor. And while we’d all love it if there was no such thing as too much Aunt Marge and too much pumpkin pie, too much of anything can be a bad thing. Except for when it comes to home décor decorating for the holidays. Whether you feel like you’re an old pro, having been host to many a successful holiday parties and family get-togethers, or you’re about to host your first ever holiday party there is no such thing as too much holiday home décor inspiration or quick tips.
Today we start at the very beginning and the very first spot of your home your guests will see; the front door. Think of your entryway as your home’s first impression on your guest. It will set the tone for how your guest views the rest of your home and also for your holiday party. If your door itself is feeling it’s years and could use an update feel free to give us a call; if you are already equipped with your beautiful Pella door you have the most important feature all squared away and can officially focus on part two for your holidays: picking the perfect wreath for your Pella door!
We’ve compiled a list of our favorite wreaths for any budget and have paired them with some of our favorite Pella doors for your inspiration:
For the Basics are Best Homeowner:

This wreath from JoAnn Fabric’s is simple and absolutely classic. Tie a bow around the top for a pop of color and you’ve got a perfectly good holiday wreath. It’s also only $14.99 so if you’re a little more budget conscious this time of year, this is the wreath for you at a great deal. Even if you prefer a more creative wreath but this one’s in your price point, it’s basic design will make it super easy to customize to your own taste.
Price Point: $14.99
Where to find it: JoAnn Fabrics
The Perfect Pella Door:

This wreath goes with our black fiberglass door perfectly as they’re both absolute staples. The wood-grain look under the black is classic and sophisticated but the fiberglass material of the door is sturdy and durable. Plus the deep green of the wreath will pop against the deep black of this beautiful door! If you have a door like this, consider a similar wreath to put the holiday spirits in your party guests.
For the DIY Homeowner:
This DIY wreath kit is from Arterno on Etsy but there are a ton more great DIY kits to really make an event out of creating your wreath! It’s the perfect date night or activity for the kiddos. Plus you can personalize it and make it exactly to your taste.
Price Point: $14.98-$48.00
Where to Find It: Etsy, we really like this one specifically from the Arterno shop but they have a multitude of wreath DIY kits to choose from.
The Perfect Pella Door:
While we are huge wreath DIY fans, one thing we never recommend is DIY-ing your door replacement. A lot of homeowners don’t realize that our in-home sales consultants are there to serve you and your design dreams. They will work with you on whatever you want for your new door to make it as perfect for you and your home as they can. A new entry door is a BIG project and can have complications so it’s best to rely on a professional you can trust to have the answers and believes in making your vision come true! We took this entryway from a single door entry way to a double door entryway, not always an easy feat on a brick home, but that’s specifically what our homeowner wanted, so we made it happen! With this door, you can get two DIY wreath kits and proudly display the wreaths you and your partner or your kids design themselves! Double the fun with a double door!
For the Traditional Homeowner:

This wreath is so beautiful and traditional. With it’s classic pine base and pop of red, it’s also pre-lit leaving for little hassle and even has snow “frosted” pine branches spruced throughout to give a wintery-feel without being overpowering and keeping with the more traditional green of a holiday wreath.
Price Point: $49.99
Where to Find it: Bed Bath and Beyond
The Perfect Pella Door:
This door was the perfect fit for a recent replacement we did with a traditional brick home in Warrendale PA. It’s a fiberglass entry door with a traditional style but is actually fiberglass with a real-wood look so that the homeowner could worry about maintenance less. Our traditional wreath would match this door perfectly; the green giving it a little bit of holiday color and the red in the wreath pairing nicely with the rest of the brick in the entryway. Your holiday guests won’t have a choice but to feel homey remembering their favorite holiday traditions when they see this perfect traditional pair!
For the Modern Homeowner:

This wreath is the epitome of the modern homeowner, all white and white wash has been the go-to for a lot of homeowners for the last few years and the all-white of this wreath fits into that perfectly. If you have a more modern home and entryway, this will go perfectly and match almost any color as a plus.
Price Point: $44.99
Where to Find It: ALLMODERN
The Perfect Pella Door:

This double entry fiberglass door with full glass is the epitome of modern and contemporary home renovation and is so sleek. While you might end up needing not one wreath but two, the simple design of the wreath will make perfect sense on this simple and sleekly designed entry-door. Your guests will be enthralled by the frosty-sleek look of your entryway and will automatically think they’re about to walk into the coolest winter wonderland event of the year—which of course is exactly right.
For the Jingle Bell, Fun Lovin’ Homeowner:

This wreath is fun and colorful yet also very ‘tis the season. It’s also very trendy and modern right now as well. We have two hanging in our office. This wreath is fun and is guaranteed to get some compliments.
Price Point: $73.99
Where to find it: Macey’s
The Perfect Pella Door:

This wreath/door combo is the perfect pair because double door entryways just scream “fancy” and the gold in the wreath(s), we really think two is the way to go on the double doors, will pop perfectly against the deep mahogany black stain of the door. Your guests wondering just slightly if they dressed up enough for the holiday party of the century.
