This new construction home is located in Amarillo, TX. Pella wood windows and sliding patio doors were used throughout. Brown exterior aluminum cladding is used on the windows to help protect the windows from the elements. Having the grilles between-the-glass makes cleaning the windows easy. The large casements windows and front picture window allows a lot of natural light into the grand Texas home. The hinged patio doors off the kitchen makes outdoor entertaining simple. Old World Construction were the constructors making this project possible.

About The Author

I spent many long summer days as a teenager assisting my father who is a highly skilled carpenter. He taught me to follow the key ingredients to success; getting up early, working hard physically and mentally, delivering quality workmanship, and always finishing the job.  During those long summer days, I learned critical thinking skills while understanding the necessity of a tenacious work ethic.    As I worked my way through college in the construction industry, I realized that what I learned in my teens and in college was applicable to estimating projects, managing distribution warehouses, and selling installed building materials to commercial contractors, home builders, and remodelers.  My college years helped teach me the importance of collaborating in a team atmosphere to help clients achieve their goals. I am forever grateful for the knowledge that I gained throughout my teen and college years. Today, I leverage this knowledge while working alongside our Pella Team of Professionals to provide a great customer experience.    Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family where I like to watch my young son play baseball and participate in Tae Kwon Do competitions.  We also spend a little time boating at the lake on those rare weekends when the baseball leagues and Tae Kwon Do associations forget to schedule a tournament. I look forward to our Pella branch helping you to realize your vision on your next project.
