Our team from Pella Windows and Doors of Cincinnati, got a chance to help encourage a few hundred excited young people about the construction trade, at Building Industry Association of North Kentucky “Big Dig” event on Friday April 20th. This year is the first year for the event and it is designed to engage young people about the construction industry
The Big Dig will feature a dozen or more heavy equipment machines that visitors can run under the supervision of trained operators. Huge hauling trucks, bulldozers, skid steers, excavators, dump trucks, boom trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and other machinery will be on site. Hands on construction experiences will fill the covered pavilion where you can hammer, cut, pull, install, bend and mortar real materials used in construction. At the Big Dig you can get as dirty as you want!
