    Common Questions

    What information should I have before calling a service coordinator? 

    There are three things that help us diagnose an issue:

    1. Please locate the serial number and/or the glass etching on your Pella product. 
    2. Have your purchase order number handy. You can find this on your original paperwork.
    3. It helps if you know the age of your product. Pella has been around since the 1920s and there are many different vintages of Pella products. 

    What information do I need to order a size related product (i.e. screens, sashes, glass, weather stripping, selective hardware, shades or blinds)?

    Please measure the visible glass of your window or door. You will need to measure from glass edge to glass edge to get the width and height. Please do not include any wood or metal in this measurement.

    I'm having trouble describing the part I need. What can I do? 

    To help a service coordinator diagnose the part you need the best way is to email us pictures at Service@PellaNorCal.com. Make sure you include your name, address, and your 5 digit reference number if you have been assigned one.
