Dark and moody on the exterior. Light and bright on the interior. This Fall Parade of Homes showstopper in Edmond, Oklahoma is an excellent example of successful contrast. Located just 15 miles North of Oklahoma City, Edmond is a family-friendly town with world-class schools, numerous shopping and attractions, the arts and more to offer. This new construction home is the builder’s interpretation of a historic home he saw and loved. Pella of Oklahoma is thrilled to be a part of this fun project.

Black and White Vinyl Windows Nod to Traditional Charm

The builder of this new construction home wanted black windows to blend with the dark backdrop of the house. Pella 250 Series vinyl windows offer dual-colored frames with a black exterior and white interior finish. Made of our exclusive vinyl formula the black vinyl resists fading and will never need repainted or refinished. The crisp white interior makes the home bright and airy, and matches any interior design style.

The living room windows and bedroom windows are a classic single-hung design. This means that the bottom sash can be raised and lowered to allow in a fresh fall breeze throughout the home. The timeless design and custom equally divided grilles enhance the traditional aesthetic of the home.

Energy-Efficient Windows Keep Spacious Home Comfortable Year-Round

With very hot and humid summers in Oklahoma, the builder wanted to make sure the home would remain comfortable, even on the hottest of days. The selected vinyl windows have up to 18 insulating air chambers inside the frame to slow the transfer of heat and improve energy efficiency. Additionally, these windows feature an exclusive weather-repel system to help eliminate drafts and leaks. It has three points of protection to channel water away from the home.

This beautiful Parade of Homes project is sure to make its new owners very happy. The home and its energy efficient windows showcase a contrast in color that is timeless and long lasting.
