Pella of Oklahoma Provides Windows for Tiny Homes

Pella Windows & Doors of Oklahoma recently had the opportunity to give back to the community by donating windows to Pivot, Inc.’s newest project. Pella of Oklahoma was able to donate all the windows for the first three tiny homes for youth who are transitioning out of homelessness or need a safe, stable living environment.

“It’s amazing to be part of a project that is impacting local youth in such a meaningful and immediate way,” says Andy Crum, CEO of Pella of Oklahoma.
Pivot, Inc. received a grant from Impact Oklahoma to fund the first 12 houses. The first six homes will be completed fully through donations from local roofers, concrete companies and local businesses in the metro.

“Safe, stable and affordable housing is a significant barrier to the youth we serve,” says Jennifer Goodrich, Pivot president and CEO. “Whether they are aging out of the foster care system or are youth living on their own, we recognize that youth need assistance securing a safe and stable place to live.”

The tiny homes sit on 12 acres and the vision is to have 85 completed tiny homes in this small community. Each home has a bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom. The youth living there will have access to Pivot’s services like education, employment assistance and mental health services.
