McCaleb Homes Wins Pella Best of Show Award

Pella of Oklahoma sponsored this year's Street of Dreams. The show featured nine of the top home builders in central Oklahoma and all homes used Pella windows and doors.
Best of Show Award goes to McCaleb Homes
Being a primary sponsor for the 2018 Street of Dreams allowed us the opportunity to work with some of the best builders in our area. Early on in our planning process we thought it would be fun to create a Best of Show award to be given out at the conclusion of the event. Each person that attended the show was given a card at the end of their tour so they could vote for their favorite home. After counting thousands of voting cards it was clear that McCaleb Homes was the winner.
Caleb and Terri's home is a beautiful Texas hill country design with lots of window combinations and multi-slide patio doors to extend the living space to the outdoors. The McCaleb's love to open their windows and doors and let the outside in. We were able to accomplish this with Pella wood casement and awning window combinations and multi-slide patio doors. Caleb and his wife, Terri, chose these specific windows because of their sleek clad design and numerous combination possibilities. The black exterior aluminum cladding really set the tone for the exterior look of the home. There were numerous sliding patio doors in the home but the featured door was the twenty foot wide, ten foot tall, five panel multi-slide patio door. It was definitely a showstopper and we had many people ask about this product. The multi-slide patio door allows them to basically open an entire wall and entertain large groups of people, without feeling cramped in the indoor living space. This door, open or shut, invites great views of the outdoor living space and the beautiful pool and pond. A lot of detail and attention was given to how the design of the home and how it would live and flow from day to day. Using Pella window and door products made this especially easy.
