POSTED ON June 29, 2018 in Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha and Lincoln Project Scope Type: Home/Residence Industry: Retail Location: Elkhorn, NE Age of Structure: 1984 Area of Structure Involved: Whole house Window Materials Used: Single-hung & sliding vinyl windows - Pella® 350 Series The owners of this 1984 home in Elkhorn, NE were looking to increase the amount of glass in their windows, update the aesthetic of the windows and improve the energy efficiency of the windows. The customers decided to use vinyl for the benefit of low maintenance and durability. This project included three window replacements; a custom dining room picture window, a kitchen sink window, and a smaller attic window. The dining room picture window was assembled onsite. The vinyl picture window gives the appearance of one large window but is actually three individually mulled windows, this allows for more natural light into the room. In the end, the customers loved the increase in natural light and 'modern craftsman' look.
