The customer also wanted to remove an oddly-placed transom separated by a row of brick and to create a more contemporary look for the front entry.Installers had to remove a transom window and a row of brick for the new door frame, which necessitated drywall work on the inside of the house. The new front door has four clear glass panels and is surrounded by sidelights. The new entryway is brighter and more welcoming. The homeowner is not only very pleased with the updated look, she expressly stated, "I wish I would have done this years ago."
