When you’re ready to look at replacing one, some or all of your windows and doors, there are a lot of decisions involved and many options to consider. It’s helpful to see three-dimensional examples of various materials, styles, colors and shapes, and even better to actually try out the hardware in advance.

So how do you do that?

If you’re in or around the Omaha area, the best way to see our products firsthand and learn more about the complete offering of windows and doors is to visit our beautiful new showroom, which opened in 2020.  It’s located at 14478 Crest Road, about a mile west of our previous showroom. The highly visible facility is situated near Interstate 80 (exit 440), so it’s easily accessible and serves not only Omaha, but also nearby communities including Bellevue, Fremont, Council Bluffs, Plattsmouth and even Lincoln.

The Pella Omaha team knows and understands the local residential and commercial architecture trends from historical to present day, and they can guide homeowners and business representatives in choosing the best options for their property. They provide customers with a first-rate window and door shopping experience and that award-winning service has been recognized in many ways: the Better Bureau Integrity Award, an Angie’s List Super Service Award, a Reader’s Choice Best of the Big O, and Omaha Magazine’s Best of Omaha. The showroom inside Pella’s new Omaha facility has made that award-winning service even better.

“This facility is unlike any other facility across the country in the Pella system. When I mean state of the art, this is state of the art, this is the cream of the crop,” Pella Omaha Retail Replacement Sales representative Scott Dunfield says. “No one’s going to have a warehouse like this and be able to show it off like we do here in Omaha.”

The facility includes warehouse and fulfillment space and production and finishing space along with the showroom. Shawn Huyser with Pella Corporate says, “This is a way, really, for Pella to showcase the brand locally. And to me, it represents really what Pella wants to look like nationally and even internationally.”

Customers who visit the showroom can see the spectrum of window and door styles and explore the functionality of full-size products.

“I think it’s really the ‘wow factor.’ I tell everybody. You know, we can basically show them everything here at the showroom and it’s actual window sizes so people can connect it with their home,” says  Pella Omaha Retail Replacement Sales Representative Debbie Ruhlman. “It’s not like a little picture out of a brochure …they can actually put a connection to it.”

Potential customers are invited to see—and touch—Pella’s most popular storm doors, entry doors, patio doors and windows. As they prepare to build a new home or business facility or update existing windows and doors, friendly professionals with the Omaha showroom can discuss project details and provide guidance to help any customer find the perfect windows and doors for their home or business.

The showroom is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Customers can stop by, call (402) 331-9225 to make an appointment or find out more online.

Past Pella customers are also welcome to reach out to their sales rep if they have any questions.

New Showroom Benefits Contractors

Commercial contractors also appreciate the new facility, which better accommodates them with such features as four additional ground-level docks.

“Homeowners, when they come in, I think they are incredibly impressed because there’s nothing like it in the area,” says Pella Omaha Replacement Sales Manager Aaron Neuroth. “And then from a builder’s perspective, when they’re sending their customers in, just the peace of mind knowing that they’re sending their customers into a professional environment, is also huge.”

“It’s one thing to talk about it, but when they can see it, they can walk out to the warehouse, they can see our finish capabilities, they can see our fulfillment capabilities; that’s what’s going to set us apart,” says Pella Omaha Commercial GM Duane Putz.

Pella Windows and Doors has operated in Omaha for 60 years. Its last facility was built for growth, but in recent years it reached its capacity. The new facility has more office space, more retail showroom space and more warehouse space. It also has greater production capacity with an on-site “paint kitchen” to make custom stains and two paint booths compared to just one at the last building.

There’s room for growth, too.

Neuroth says it’s exciting to see where Pella is going and to know there’s a facility in place to support that growth.

Plus, it’s a great reflection of the top-notch Omaha-based team.

“It’s a world-class team here and it’s more than just the building. It’s the culture,” says Huyser.  “It’s really like a family (with) a genuine care for this business and a passion for the brand.”
