The hope was to create some ventilation but have a simpler, contemporary and more open look.It was challenging to install the windows within uneven exterior stonework. The local Pella representative recommended Lifestyle Series double-paned awning windows to create some ventilation, with a large, fixed clad frame above the two awnings. The portobello exterior-facing color is a nice accent to the stonework and respects the Mid-century Modern look of the home.
