Philabundance serves over 900,000 people a week and is Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization. 30% of who they serve are children.
Helping to feed children has long been a passion for Regional Manager, Reggie Stacy, and we are grateful to be in a position to help Philabundance provide meals to students during the summer.
Philabundance distributed 25,000,000 pounds of food both throughout their own distribution as well as though soup kitchens and relief shelters over the course of 2017.
So far, we've volunteered on June 14th, June 18th, July 17th, and are planning to volunteer again here soon on July 27th.
The amount of energy, passion, and positive comments we've seen throughout our organization in support of this initiative makes us incredibly thankful to work with people so willing to give back and help their community! We're looking forward to our next time volunteering and also further exploring how else we can help this great organization.
