With our commitment to helping others, we partner with several charities, including Today is a Good Day.
This nonprofit's mission is to provide personal and financial support for families who experience the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Today is a Good Day contributes to a strong start for babies in the NICU by supporting those who are closest to them — their parents and families.
Founded in 2014, Today is a Good Day is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization with a national reach — partnering with 14 hospitals to support families navigating the NICU experience. They provide care packages, which include a journal, copy of On the Night You Were Born book, tissues, hand sanitizer, bonding squares, a water bottle and more. These care packages are an initial touchpoint to help families know they are not alone.
In addition, Today is a Good Day hosts sessions called "Navigate the NICU," to help families connect with other families who understand what they're going through. Participants get the opportunity to meet a NICU graduate, which can give them hope and inspiration. An important part of Today is a Good Day’s program also includes direct financial support helping families with items, such as car seats, utility bills, baby supplies and other necessary items.
Our partnership started through a connection with Rutter Roofing, a longtime supporter of Today is a Good Day. We are honored and proud to be a part of such a powerful mission and appreciate the dedication that Today is a Good Day has in supporting families in the Philadelphia community.
