Pittsburgh April Trend of the Month: Finally Letting in the Light!

posted on May 23, 2019 in Pella Windows & Doors of Pittsburgh

Our sales team sees some of the best and newest trends when they’re out spending time with their customers and helping them replace their windows and doors. The team is all around our city each and every day both seeing and installing some of the newest, most modern trends. When it comes to modernizing and updating your home, you couldn’t take advice from a better source! Luckily, we’re curating the trends that we’ve noticed in Pittsburgh just for you every single month. This month’s trend is quite fitting for the recent weather. Just as we finally got to see some sunlight in April, our Pittsburgh homeowners are letting light into their homes!

There are lots of ways to let light into your home. Sometimes it’s as easy as rolling up the blinds or parting the curtains, while other times, it might take slightly bigger change. Our homeowners undertook some beautiful changes to their homes this April in order to let more light into their homes.

patio french door replacement This beautiful window to patio door transformation completely opened up the space and provided a lot more glass to the area, allowing for more light to be let in. An additional benefit for the homeowners was that they now have easy access from their living room to their back yard—a perfect upgrade for April and the coming summer.

Bay Window Brightens KitchenIn Allison Park, we installed a bay window into the homeowner’s kitchen and really opened up their space! Letting in more natural light can make a room feel bigger and more airy. These homeowners really felt the replacement was the perfect piece to their kitchen renovation and are excited about the added light to the space.

modern full-light entry doorThis entry door modernization is another great example of finding ways to lighten your home, even just a little bit. The full length frosted glass door provides the entryway of the home with more light than its predecessor, but keeps the homeowners' privacy with the frosted glass feature. The added modernization of the home is also a major bonus.

Let in light this spring to brighten your summer! If you’re looking to let more light into your home, set up an appointment with our team to see your options.
